The Army- The steel within..

Technically, steel on it's own worn't be very good for us. that's because our blood would probably cause it to corrode and we may eventually die of rust poisoning... :P

anyway besides that i think it's probabaly time to post my army progress

Well hopefully the next step would be 2Lt :) maybe this would just help me keep check of my own progress. It's strange how 6 months in the army can change a person (but not necessarily in a good way in all aspects) but there's a change non the less. hopefully everything will return to normalcy after ORDing but then again that's still a long long way away.. till then..

Anyway. HELLO everyone! okay army in the commando training institute is not all that bad.. it's a progressive training and although we dont get as much rest time as the bmtc side, it's quite alright really..

fishing!

this morning I went to East Coast Park! with my parents to go inline skating : ) i'm proud to say that they CAN skate OKAY! hahaha

It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO crowded as expected on a PH..

After skating we went to bedok jetty at the end of east coast park to go fishing!fishing for the clouds! : P
many many many pple also fishing..

learning from the resident uncle.. he sells hand made fishing hooks and he's
showing us how it's done..

waiting.... and still waiting... okay and more waiting....Yay!!!!!! i caught 2 fishes! : ) ok ok i know.... they're small... BUT i still caught fishes today : D

NUS!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOo!!! : P NUS just gave me a letter- offering me a place for their NUS Global Merit Scholarship : )

My New school here i come!

Which to choose which to choose?!!?!?!

Imagine this; A local university offers you a place in one of thier courses which only takes in 80-100 students. On top of that, they awarded you with thier bond-free, all-tuition-fees-paid Scholarship. And you turn it down! Well - NTU offered me a place in their Aerospace Engineering Course WITH a Nanyang Scholarship. BUT I think i'm about to do just that.. >_<

I decided that NUS was more of the place for me. (It's in my zone! : ) ) so anyway, even though NUS has not confirmed any scholarship with me for their Mechanical Engineering Course, (which will be announced at the end of May 08), NTU's deadline for the acceptance is TOMORROW the 6Th of May and I just don't think I'll be able respond to it without regretting.

Crazy? I am, maybe, but we'll just leave it to God to decided if NUS is going to come back to me with something.
