i fixed my phone => + many things to say

Today i couldnt call home!!!! cause the darn thing broke. not my hand phone though. my house phone of 5 years old. when i got home i saw that the receiver bit had broken in. Oh no! i thought.

being the itchy hands i am, i tore apart the fax/ phone to see what went wrong. i wonder who in the company thought it would be a great idea to make the darn thing so difficult to remove. but force saves the day! it came apart. the findings: Plastic thingy sheered apart due to fatigue failure! (engineering materials notes)

so i got out super epoxy to repair the plastic receiver thing. after 3 mins. (though the bottle says 5), it was repaired! the next part was to put everything together. demn i thought. the stupid thing wornt go back in. so again force saves the day. a few whacks and slams, the cover slotted right back in. woohooo!
there.. all done.

anyway. had been away from the comp for so long cause was, and still am, super busy.. sigh. WHOEVER SAYS POLY IS EASY OUGHT TO BE SHOT! i'll try to mass blog for the stuff thats happened the past few weeks

yesterday i flew with Mr Micky Liew cause my primary instructor Mr Dennis De Witt went on leave... For ONE month. sigh : / wish he didnt go.. anyway didnt fly solo yet again cause of wet runway.. (in order for the sortie to be counted, you have to fly half with instructor and half on your own)

after the flight, i stayed back to do ground school aka study for tests. then the instructors had night flying when i was about to leave and i heard we could hop on the back (no not on the tail!) in the cabin and i had a really cool ride. well firstly cool cause it was a chilly night and secondly the lights at night are really cool to see and thirdly, the airforce were also having night flying so you could see streaks of white lights flying three times my speed. yea yea my plane is slow. hahaha

the current monday that had just passed was kinda scary.. had my ACC presentation on the CRASH of Air France concorde flight 4590.
i think my group's presentation went rather well.

Hopefully we'll do well. anyway too bad the Concorde no longer flies.

Oh ya. i've got a driving test date.. on Sep 29th! so far away. i think its due to the huge group of 88 students cause we're 18 this year.. three months wait man. so long.. so i'll only have driving on mondays until the test date gets closer.

i guess thats abt it. till the next time.. chao.
