i passed my driving!!

yAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! after a nong nong time i did it! hahahah lucky first try.. no pts in the circuit but 14 on the road. hahahha.. something really really interesting that i must say... for those who know me well enough, you'd know my fav no which i put on my jerseys:

strangly, i got car no 88 as my test car! freaky coincidence? maybe... confidence booster? oh yea! hahhahhaha lucky no.s for a lucky test.

i think its dumb to complian hahahaha.. looking at it now its really silly.. bleagh... moving on, i spent 18 hours at syfc this week so far and i'm going down again on saturday. ??!?!?! what's up with that man.. hahahah never done so much work there before...

I finally flew 22!

At last man.. This morning's weather was nice and calm. So could do my solo in peace. hahaha..

Party at Simon's

Yesterday was just plain fun. We had a stay over at simon's place. just the same old bunch of josh ash andrewC bryan and TimTay.. joel and alex came but left earlier.. so sad ally couldn't make it.. Anyway after not meeting for like a kebazillion years, we had a really good laugh all night. Thanks Simon! and good luck in completing your FF on the PS2.

HALO

thats my new call sign. hahahahha... at syfc yesterday, we were playing on the flight sim and the instructor suddenly made 4 virtual planes take off and since they were far away, you could only see red and green lights in the distance. "silly-ly" i thought they were PAPI lights floating in the air. sigh.. so thats why i'm now called HALO as in halogen lights? anyway, the instructor cut my virtual engines and i had to make a mayday landing back on the runway.. unfortunately, the runway had planes on them so i landed on the taxy way instead and rolled over to the grass. what ideas man.. the simulator really gets you thinking...

RSAF open house 2006

yesterday and today i went to the rsaf open house! yea yea i know. you're thinking siao! go two days in a row for what?! yesterday i went with my sister and her boyfriend and then today i went with only estee because some other pple couldn't wake up. hint hint.. tsk tsk. anyway some pics to show the event:

Next was the aerial display! super cool. they had the four planes, 2 F16C and 2 F5S, parked in front of the grand stand. then they had the 'emergency'' siren to which the pilots and ground crew rushed to the planes and taxied for take off. it took less than seven minutes to get off the ground which is really fast.

They had the C130 demo a commando free fall.. you can see the commando in the pic below. oh btw its not just one commando but thats just one of them free falling in the pic. haha
they even had the red lions sky dive and land twenty meters infront of us.. Beats being at the national stadium on national day hands down.

they also had apaches and super pumas sneak up from the tree line at the background.. after which there were infantry men absail from the super pumas.

you can see the green guys if you look closely at the trees long enough..

there was two chinooks carrying their payloads like the cannon below.

finally they all came back in to land. think the air show was the best of all the activities.

oh they actually had joyrides in a aircraft of your choice but then its a lucky draw. haahhaahahhaa.. so unlucky. didnt win but it was fun non-the-less.
