21,21,21,21,21...

Yesterday I had my 5th sortie 21. Why? Because they all got cancelled. It was due to weather for the first three times, an inbound plane on the forth which caused a delay and on the last one, guess what? It was a sunny Saturday morning at 9 am, got into the plane and felt quite ok.. Things were looking nice.. Not a cloud in sight.. We taxied to the runway and then we heard a call from the control tower saying what? there are birds on the runway! 5 demn big ones.. sigh.. so had to take off on the right side of the runway.. After i took off, another of my friend was coming in for a landing. BANG! one of then flew into his wing. so everyone doing circuits had to circle around and wait for the airport service to collect the bird. -_-.. after which, i did two more circuits and then landed.. but since there were still 4 of them sitting on the runway, my instructor decided it wasn't too safe so i could not go solo.. demn birds.. oh wells.. hahahaha.. after we parked the aircraft, my instructor and i went to see the damage on the other aircraft. WOW! there was a huge indentation on the right leading edge of the wing.. Since the plane was slowing down after it touched down, everyone can safely say that the plane didn't hit the bird. hahahha. the bird flew and hit the plane! Usually we classify this as a plane having a bird strike.. but i think for this special case, the bird had a plane strike. hahaha.
